Janis Hall Stops, age 69, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on April 23, 2019 at her home peacefully with her family at her side. She was a graduate of Lakeside High School, Atlanta, GA and Bauder Fashion Merchandising College, Atlanta, GA.  Janis was the owner and decorator of a successful interior design business for 25 years. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville for over 26 years. She is survived by Mike Stops,her husband of 32 years, Lawrenceville, GA; son Christopher Demaline and wife Michelle of Buford, GA; Three granddaughters, Bella, Callie and Aisllynn Demaline of Buford, GA; Two sisters, Joan Fischer and husband Ted of Cleveland, GA, Jeni Simpson and husband Jonathan of Monroe, GA; Nephews Greg Fischer and wife Valerie of Buford, GA, Lee Fischer and wife Priscilla of Buford, GA; Grand nephews and grand nieces, Andie, Max and Macy Fischer of Buford, GA, Preston, Ella and Anniston Fischer of Buford, GA. She is also survived by Daughter "in love",Veronica Lamb and husband Wes of Kennesaw, GA; Three step grandchildren, Jessica Whitlock of Lawrenceville, GA, Debra Martin and husband Willy of Buckhead, GA, George Stops and wife Jessica of Lilburn, GA; and Seven step great grandchildren and several cousins. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be Saturday April,27,2019 at 4:00. It will be held at Lawrenceville United Methodist Church at 395 West Crogan St., Lawrenceville, GA 30046. The Reverend Adam Hilderbrandt is officiating.
