Janet Irene Sherman age 77 of Monroe, GA passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021. She was born in Canada and moved to Georgia when she was 17 to start a new life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years James Harvey Sherman in 2019 and member of Bethlehem Church.  She is survived by her daughters & sons in law Shelly Sherman of Monroe, Debbie & Matt Crowe of Oxford, Jayme & Paul Bray of Hoschton, Grandchildren Brett & Bailey Gealy, McKenzie Crowe, Jordyn Gealy, Sydney & Clayton Nottingham, Ryley Bray, great grandchildren Jax Gealy, Brayden Nottingham, brothers & sisters in law Allison & Susan Lawrence of New Brunswick, Canada, Harold & Judy Lawrence of Toronto, Canada, sisters and brother in law Helen Martin of New Brunswick, Canada, Inez Benefield of Stone Mountain, Wilma & William Outz of Perry, Ga. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Bethlehem Church 548 Christmas Ave. Hwy 11 N Bethlehem, GA 30620, with Billy Daniels officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 at the church prior to the service.
