Rev. James Posey age 81 of Bethlehem GA; passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017. Rev. Posey served in the ministry for over 40 years & he was a member of Center Union Baptist Church, Braselton GA.  He was preceded in death by his parents Andy & Laura Dora Sexton Posey, brothers & sisters Gary Posey, Jerry Posey, Denver Posey, Phelan Posey, Martha Lay,  Juanita Fowler & his wife in 2011 Carolyn McGehee Posey.  Rev. Posey is survived by his children Johnny & Nadine Posey of Braselton, GA; Donna & Marty Gibson of Bethlehem GA; Pamela & Bobby Rogers of Auburn, GA; Debbie & Steve Lacy of Jefferson, GA; brother & sisters Jeff & Jean Posey of Olgethrope, GA;  Bonnie & Roy Langley of Monroe, GA; Shirley Stephens of Commerce, GA; Ronnel & Barry Goss of Oneida, TN; & Linnie & David Brumbalow of Oneida, TN; twelve grandchildren, Eighteen great grandchildren & several nieces, nephews & cousins. A celebration of Rev. Posey's life will beheld on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in the chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Service Lawrenceville, GA; with Rev. Calvin Gooch officiating. Interment will follow at Luxomni Baptist Church Cemetery in Lilburn, GA.
