James Allen Land

James Allen Land, age 85, died May 4, 2026, from complications associated with Parkinson's disease. Jim was born on April 5, 1941. He was a graduate of the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Woodstock in Woodstock, Georgia and 10125 Church in Monroe, Georgia. He served in the United States Navy for nine years as a Navy Corpsman. He worked for Monsanto Corporation for 30 years in Pensacola, Florida; Greenville, South Carolina; and Atlanta, Georgia. After he retired, Jim worked for Wal-Mart in Woodstock, Georgia and Monroe, Georgia after moving to Monroe. He retired from Wal-Mart after 17 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Phyllis Land; his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Stacey Land; his daughter, Kimberli Meshelle Krueger; and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Gwinnett County Police Foundation Line of Duty Support Fund or the International Mission Board, Project 3000.
