December 03, 1943 – March 17, 2023 James Edward (Bobby Joe) Burleson, the only child of Hazel and Horace Burleson. Bobby was raised and lived most of his younger life in Palmdale, CA, where he attended and graduated high school. If you ask Bobby where he attended college, he would tell you SWU, Sidewalk University. He had a wanderlust and adventurous nature, to say it mildly. Bobby traveled and lived from Palmdale to San Francisco, to Seattle, to Alaska, to Texas, and most recently resided in Atlanta, GA with his daughter and grandchildren. Bobby is remembered for his love for family, infectious laugh, unforgettable smile, strong spirit, and was known to all who loved him as not only an amazing father, grand-father, brother, uncle, cousin, and son but as a "rolling stone".
