Irene Varela, age 51 passed on January 7, 2021. She is survived by her partner, Juan Zavala; her mother Lucille Montoya; her siblings; her three children, Rudy Almaguer, Ruben Almaguer, and Stephanie Rodriguez and her grandchildren. Irene was a beloved mother, grandmother, partner, and friend. Born in Texas and spent most of her life in Georgia, where she raised her three children surrounded by laughter, some tough love, and happiness. She was a fighter, she loved hard and always smiled. Those who knew her loved her, and those who loved her will forever miss her. She will live forever in our hearts and will truly be missed.
