Gian "Mig" Mignone, age 55, of Jefferson, GA passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020.  Mig was a 1983 graduate of Berkmar High School. He retired from Gwinnett County Fire & Emergency Services.  In his free time, Mig enjoyed traveling to the mountains.  He was preceded in death by his parents: Dino & Rita Deri Mignone and brother, Michael Mignone.  He is survived by his loving family, son, Nick Mignone, daughter, Katie Mignone, brother, Robert Mignone, sisters and brothers-in-law: Diane & Joe DaPonte, Jean & Dan Ledbetter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.  A celebration of Mig's life will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Service, Lawrenceville, GA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 am until service time.  Flowers are accepted or contributions may be made to the Gwinnett Fire Employee Benevolent Fund, 408 Hurricane Shoals Road NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
