Gerard M "GM" Rogers Sr was born on May 2, 1959 in Englewood, NJ to Robert Rogers and Joyce Ruffin. He went to be with the Lord in the evening on August 16, 2025. GM was raised by his parents in the Bronx, NY where he graduated from Morris High School and later joined the Army serving as a Sargent for 9 years in the Dentistry field. GM married his wife Jeannette in October of 2024. They were residing in Dacula, GA at the time of his passing.

GM is survived by Wife Jeannette Rogers, Son Gerard Rogers II and Daughter in Law Candice Rogers, Daughter Tarcarra Bulloch and Son in Law Jose Mendez, Daughter Eboni Rogers and Son in Law Francis Owusu, Grandchildren Elijah and Elikah James, Ezekiel Rogers, McKinley Rogers and Priscilla Owusu. Brother Donald Rogers and Sister in Law Janeen Rogers, Sister Robin Rogers, Nieces Daria, Teandra, and Jentile Rogers. Aunt Margaret "Peaches" Uncle Predell Ruffin Cousins Valerie Ruffin, Richard Valintine, Dexter Ruffin, Andre Williams and Robert Jenkins, Friends Clayton Brown and Audi Champion. He is predeceased by Father Robert Rogers, Mother Joyce Ruffin, Previous Wife Carole Rogers, Grandmother Ophelia Ruffin Grandfather Felix Ruffin.
