Mr. Albert Gerald Grissom age 72 of Lawrenceville, GA; passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017.  Mr. Grissom was preceded in death by his parents, Willie B. & Louise Stewart Grissom, & wife, of 18 years Evelyn Weathers Grissom.  Gerald was of the Baptist Faith, and worked as a Carpenter for many years.  He is survived by his son, Danny Grissom of Duluth, GA; sister & brother-in-law  Margaret (Paul) Bailey of Lawrenceville, GA; sister,  Ann Reese, of Winder, GA; sister & brother-in-law Mary Ellen & Rev. Neil Butler of Lawrenceville, GA; brother Darrell Grissom, of Lawrenceville, GA; & sister, Sharon Gober & fiancé Eddie Cash of Lawrenceville, GA; four grandchildren,  one great-grandchild, & several nieces, nephews, & cousins.  A Celebration of Gerald's life will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Crematory and Funeral Service Lawrenceville, Ga;  with Rev. Roland Jackson, Rev. Mike Freeman, & Rev. Neil Butler officiating.
