Frances "Fran" Kuritz was born in Mineral Springs, North Dakota on August 10, 1915. She entered heaven's gates on June 16, 2017, just a few months shy of her 102nd birthday. Frances lived the majority of her life in Milwaukee, Wisconsin married to Damon "Danny" Kuritz for 53 years before he passed in 1993. She loved to play bingo and slot machines and spent time with family and friends, always with a smile on her face. She moved to Snellville, Georgia, at age 92 to live near her daughter Barb and family, and developed many new friendships at her beloved Laurel Grove. Fran was predeceased by her husband Damon Kuritz, her son, James D. Kuritz and her siblings, Robert "Jack" Detlef, Elizabeth "Betty" Trowbridge, Joe and George "Mike" Pendergrast. Fran is survived by her daughter Barb Thompson and her husband Gary, daughter Nancy Magill and partner Bill Beckner, and daughter Patricia Painter and her husband David, and daughter-in-law Barbara Kuritz. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Melanie, David, Susanne, Peter, Robyn, Stefan, Damon, Joe, Terry, and Lisa. She had 11 great grandchildren . The family will celebrate her life in private and lay her to rest with her beloved Danny at Graceland Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
