Faye Pressley Rhodes of Winder, GA passed away on Thursday September 28, 2023.  Mrs. Rhodes was a graduate of Denmark-Olar High School. She taught Pre-K at Snellville First Baptist Church, and she served as the Executive Director for The Carl House in Auburn, GA. Mrs. Rhodes was a faithful member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frampton E. & Mary Hair Gunnells, brothers Bobby Gunnells, Frampton Gunnells, Wallace Gunnells, and first husband Michael Pressley.

Mrs. Rhodes was a loving wife to Buddy Rhodes, mother to Craig (Andi) Pressley, Christopher Pressley, and Buddy's children Shannon (Rhonda) Rhodes, Robyn (Scott) Johnson, Julie (Shane) Fordham, and grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday October 7, 2023 at 11:00 am at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Lawrenceville GA. with Pastor Kenny Kuykendall, & Pastor Shannon Rhodes officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Cross Roads Baptist Church 1391 Braselton Hwy, Lawrenceville GA 30043 in honor of Faye Pressley Rhodes.
