Faye Jones Posea, age 95, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Faye was a faithful member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Lawrenceville for more than thirty years. She retired from the State of Georgia after many years of dedicated service as a Clerk in the House of Representatives.

Faye loved spending time outdoors. She especially enjoyed camping, as well as feeding the birds and deer that visited her yard. Her gentle spirit, warm smile, and love for God's creation touched all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Franklin & Ruby Doris Jordan Jones, & beloved husband, Richard Posea, with whom she shared sixty-eight years of marriage and her adorable fur babies, Gigi and Star, who brought her joy and companionship for many years.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Barbara Posea; cousin, Joyce Cook; her camping family, Ed and Marjorie Davis and Frank and Ann Frady; her longtime co-worker and friend, Jane Mayo; special friends Jesse and Deborah Everette; her church family at Cross Roads Baptist Church and Gwinnett Hall Baptist Church; and a host of friends she lovingly embraced throughout her life.

A Celebration of Faye's Life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Cross Roads Baptist Church, with Pastor Kenny Kuykendall and Rev. Buddy Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, Georgia, Wayne Ferguson officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 12:30 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Wednesday at Cross Roads Baptist Church from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
