Evelyn L. Hemphill age 92 of Dacula, GA; passed away on February 22, 2017. She was born on August 11, 1924, in Danville, VA; and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport, CT; she was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Hemphill and her daughter Beverly L. Campbell. She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Ronald & Barbara Hemphill Sr. of Trumbull, CT; daughter, Joyce Brayboy of Bridgeport, CT; grandchildren; Genith, Ronald Jr., Desmond, Kimberly, Diedre, Thomas O., Shauna, and Bryanna. And a host of great-grandchildren, and many treasured nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of life service will beheld Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Stratford, CT; with Pastor William B. Sutton III officiating.
