Doris Cook Smith age 90 of Suwanee, Georgia passed away Wednesday February 22, 2023. Mom was married to Billy Arnold Smith for over 50 years (widowed) with three children, Kenneth Arnold Smith, Dennis Wayne Smith, Pamela Smith Szymanski/three grandchildren - Christina Marie Long & John Long, Nathan Smith & Melissa, and Kelly Graham & Zack / great-grandchildren - Dane Alexander Long, Holly Anna Rebecca Long, Colton Smith, Hazel Grace Smith, Audrey Kate Smith.  Mom was a homemaker active in children's schools and outside activities, worked at a children's day care in the nursery for 5 years, retired and loved working in her flower gardens and feeding her hummingbirds.

Surviving brothers & sisters in law Billy & Sandra Cook, Maurice Cook, William & Beth Cook all of Jackson, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Wesley Cook. mother Eliza Alberta Cook, brothers James Cook and Howell Cook, sisters Sara Washington and Ruby Norwood.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday February 25, 2023 from the chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Funeral Home.
