Denise Ridgeway, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed from this life on January 25, 2024, in Snellville, GA. She was born on August 16, 1961, in Grand Rapids, MI, to Shirley Mathen and Billy Ray Hickey. Denise was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her step father Marion "J.R." Isbell, father-in-law Dr. Ted Ridgeway, mother-in-law Ellen Ridgeway, and five brothers.

Denise is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Kelly Ridgeway; her children, Haley Moody and Sterling Ridgeway; her son-in-law, Kyle Moody; her daughter-in-law, Madison Ridgeway; and her cherished grandchildren Sutton, Ridge, and Maeve Moody, who affectionately called her "Gma". She had a special love for her grandogs, Titan and Finn. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Jane Ridgeway; siblings, Kevin Isbell, Tracey (Tamara) Isbell, Lori (Bobby) Mason; brothers-in-law, Mike (Sheila) Ridgeway, Charles (Carol) Hogan, and Sim (Vickie) Hogan; and many nieces and nephews.

Denise and Kelly were united in marriage on February 10, 1990, in Gatlinburg, TN. Their love and devotion to each other were an inspiration to all who knew them.

Denise had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of First Baptist Snellville, now Church on Main, for over 20 years.

Denise had a zest for life, found joy in the simple things in life, and never met a stranger. She greatly enjoyed spending time at the beach and by the pool. Her favorite hobbies with Kelly were to shop for antiques or find treasures at estate and garage sales for their antique booth.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 12-2pm, at Church on Main- 2400 Main St E, Snellville GA 30078. A celebration of her life will follow at 2pm at the same location.
