Deborah "Tadpole" Segars of Buford Georgia passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024. Deborah was born on November 26, 1959 in North Carolina Deborah gave her life to serving others, especially children. Always small in stature, but her love and laughter was often larger than life and she loved her family relentlessly. Over the years many knew her as a preschool teacher, room mom, team mom, PTO President, and Sunday school teacher, and for many years she managed the concessions at George Pierce Park. Through those avenues she loved on, encouraged, and helped shape hundreds of young people's lives. Now she is fully healed and with her Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven. Deborah is preceded in death by her father James Edwin Payne. She is survived by her loving son & daughter-in-law Glynn and Hannah Segars, sister and brother-in-law Edwina and Paul Bailey brother and sister-in-law JR and Janet Payne mother Rosemary Sue Payne, nephews Jesse Bailey, Tyler Payne & niece Felecia Malave. A celebration of Deborah's life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Service Lawrenceville GA. with Rev. Buddy Rhodes officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens Duluth GA.
