Danny Lane Berry

Danny Lane Berry, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026. Born October 31, 1949, he was the son of the late William and Sarah Berry. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1967 and served four years in the United States Air Force.

Danny had a lifelong passion for music and was an accomplished drummer, performing with several bands including The Mystics, The Rocks, The Wallace Reed Band, and Squeeze. He later built a successful career in music sales and distribution with PolyGram Universal.

He enjoyed dancing, golf, and bowling, and was a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. Above all, he was a dedicated father and grandfather who took great pride in his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, William; and his niece, Bonnie. He is survived by his sons, Brent Berry (Sabrina), Bradley Berry, and Brooks Berry; his ,grandchildren, Hamilton, Annabella, Zoey, Chloe, and Jack; and his niece, Pamela.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Byrd & Flanigan,,288 Hurricane Shoals Rd NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.,to 1:00 p.m.
