Craig Jonathan Loeffler, Age 39, of Lawrenceville, GA was born on Aug. 5, 1984, and grew up in Hazlet, NJ where he graduated from Raritan High School, Class of 2002. After graduating, Craig worked in the trucking industry for over 20 years. From 2018 to 2020, he worked for Ernst Concrete with his Class B CDL. In 2020, he obtained his Class A CDL and pursued his passion to become Owner/Operator of his own trucking company (which he lovingly named after his pride and joy, his son), Craig Darnell Logistics, LLC. Over the past 3.5 years, Craig worked diligently to build his successful business where he forged great working relationships with everyone he met.
Craig passed away on May 21 st , 2024 after an 8 month battle with Cancer. Craig is survived by his loving son, Craig Darnell Loeffler and the mother of his child and devoted partner of 13 years, Kylea Eason (and her family) of North Brunswick, NJ. Craig was predeceased by his father, Alan J. Loeffler who died in 1999. He also leaves behind his mother, Carol A. Loeffler, his sister, Colette {Darryl "Jake"} Jacobsen, a niece Kierra, and nephews, Derek, Evan and Logan Jacobsen of Cumming, GA. Other siblings from his father's previous marriage include (Misty Pre Deceased), Dawn, Alan Jr, Robert and Kenneth Loeffler. Craig was also loved and supported by so many people he called "framily"; especially his Mentor and "Pop", Ian {Elisa} Campbell and their children, as well as his devoted companion, Toya McLennon (and family), and his sponsor & dear friend Sam Graddy and dear friend Elizabeth Adams. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many wonderful lifelong friends.
Services will be held at Byrd & Flanigan Crematory and Funeral Services, 288 Hurricane Shoals Rd NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 26 th from 2pm to 3pm, with a funeral service from 3pm to 4pm, followed by a repast which will be announced concluding the service. In lieu of flowers, Craig supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where memorial donations may be made at www.stjude.org/donate.
