Cote Thomas Sutton 44 of Houston, TX. passed away on April 5, 2020 in the Atlanta, GA area where he lived with his wife Tiina Michelle Wells Sutton.

Cote was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and moved to Houston at age 10.  He graduated from Clearlake High School where he was on the football &basketball team. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A &M with two bachelor's degrees, one in Chemistry & one in Psychology. He was employed as a wine maker with RH Phillip's in Davis, CA, upon returning to Houston he was involved in international wine transportation & distribution.

Cote was an avid sailor and participated in regattas throughout Texas & Florida. He began sailing at Lakewood Yacht Club in the Seahorse program on a sunfish, progressing to a J22 and bowman on a J35 called Leading Edge.  He was also an avid snowboarder & bicyclist.  He will be best remembered by his witty and fun loving spirit,

He is survived by his wife Tiina Michelle Wells Sutton; his son Wyatt Thomas Sutton; step-children Gavin Wells, Jonathan Wells, Denna Wells, father William Thomas Sutton, step-mother Diana Sutton, sister Susan Sutton, step brother Jakob Sutton, his uncle Joe Sutton, aunt Janet Nixon and aunt Susan Swift along with many Cousins in New Mexico and Texas.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Julie Ann Curry, sister Shawn Sutton, step-brother Shane Golden; grandparents, Bill & Harriot Sutton and Ben & Verna Curry.

A Memorial Service / Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 6, 2020 from 1:00 - 3:00 at Cabo bar and grill 2513  NASA Rd. 1 Seabrook, TX 77586.
