Claire Denise Murray, born on February 4, 1955, in Birmingham, Alabama passed peacefully January 2, 2024 at the age of 68 after a two-year battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Joy Robbins. Denise is survived by her daughter, Ashley Delaney (Brian); her precious granddaughter, Claire Delaney; sisters Becky Harrell (Floyd), Donna Parillo (John) and Cindy Bloodworth (David) and many nieces and nephews. Denise was a beloved mother, sister, friend and GiGi. She never wanted to be the center of attention, but she loved spending time with her large family and friends. Denise was an excellent cook, gardener and loved to care for others. She also loved to play games, especially Canasta and work puzzles on her iPad. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter Claire. A private memorial will be held in Snellville, Georgia and a graveside service at a later date at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama.
