Mr. Woodall was born on the 21st of February 1952 in Atlanta Georgia to Joy Ann and Charles Billy Woodall Senior. He attended Young Harris College in north Georgia. He was a Master Carpenter and Curved Stairway Specialist. He owned his own Stair Company, CW Stairs for thirty years; he built hundreds of custom curved stairways, decks, Florida rooms, remodeled basements and houses. He was an artist and a true craftsman in his trade. His peers admired and respected him.
He married Salley Ruth Vogel and adopted her daughter Alesha, and they had another daughter named Nicole.
He coached both of his daughters throughout their fast-pitch softball careers and was extremely dedicated to their childhood development. Guiding them through life until both of his daughters became married.
He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and baseball in general. He also loved football both professional and college. His favorite college team was the Georgia Bulldogs, and his favorite professional team was The New England Patriots.
He moved to Indiana when his daughter Alesha gave birth to his grandson Brice, because she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He stayed by Alesha's side while she was fighting cancer and helped in raising his first grandson Brice Elijah Goins.
Then he moved to Augusta Georgia to take care of his daughter Nicole after her car accident. She was five months pregnant with his second grandson, Luke Charles Rondeau and her injuries were so severe that she couldn't walk for two months. He waited on her hand and foot, staying up all night long at times. He did so until she fully recovered.
After that he moved to Dacula Georgia where he spent two years of his life taking care of his Aunt Judy, who had Alzheimer's disease, until her disease was so far advanced she was put into a nursing home.
In the last few months of his life he was happy and generally healthy. He was teaching his Grandson Luke how to hit and catch a baseball. He would spend limitless hours taking Luke, his youngest Grandson to the park, or watching the Braves game with him. He was a wonderful Father and Grandfather and an all-around generous loving man. He will be missed by so many people in ways that are indescribable.
