+ Charles (Chuck) H. K. Armstrong, 70, born March 21,1947 died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home in Athens on Feb.12, 2018. Prior to moving to Athens many years ago, Chuck lived most of his life in Jefferson, Ohio. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1965 and was an Army veteran. He spent many years employed in the print rooms of newspapers in Ohio prior to his job move to Athens . He enjoyed sports, watching movies, playing golf, and riding his motorcycle in his leisure time. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Gertrude and Donald Armstrong of Jefferson, Ohio. He is survived by his three children Jodi Kremiller, Jeff Armstrong Miller, and Mark Armstrong Miller; his eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren all in Naples, FL.; his sister, Sandee Tomeo in Cortland, OH.; his brother, Dennis Armstrong in Vista, CA.; a nephew, Craig Tomeo in Jacksonville, FL.; a niece, Catherine Ryan in Medford, MA. and her two daughters. Interment will be at the Oakdale Union Cemetery in Jefferson, Ohio and a private graveside service will be held in Jefferson at a later date.
