IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carlos
Jimenez
December 17, 1979 – October 1, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carlos Jimenez, age 44, a cherished husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, who left us after a long and courageous battle with heart and kidney failure. Carlos was born on December 17, 1979, in Frankfurt, Germany, and sadly passed away on October 1st, 2024. Throughout his life, he traveled and lived in many places, gathering experiences and friendships that enriched his life. He was a wonderful, kind, patient husband to Karren Jimenez, and his easy-going nature and loving personality brought joy to everyone around him. Even during his illness, Carlos maintained a radiant smile and a warm demeanor, uplifting those who had the privilege of knowing him. Carlos was passionate about giving back to the community. He volunteered his time mentoring high school students, guiding them as they prepared for the next steps in their lives. He also worked in insurance, driven by a genuine desire to help others think ahead and prepare for the future, ensuring that families could protect themselves and their loved ones. In addition to his family, Carlos had two beloved pets—a dog named Reeses and a cat named Mochi—whom he loved dearly. They were a source of comfort and companionship throughout his life. Carlos is survived by his devoted wife, Karren; his mother, Dalmaris Pettaway; his step-father, Larry Pettaway; his father, Jose Ramon Jimenez; Altagracia Nunez; his beloved sister, Grace (Deedee) Jimenez; brother, Jose Ramon Jimenez Jr.; and grandmother, Mariana Ferreira; aunts, uncles, nephew, devoted friends Tek and Gino. Each of them will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. Despite his challenges, Carlos's spirit remained unbroken, and his kindness touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
