Bertrand Clifton "Bert" Turnure passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 91.

Born on April 19, 1935, Bert was the oldest of seven siblings. Throughout his life, he exemplified dedication, integrity, and kindness. A proud United States Marine, Bert served his country with honor and carried that sense of duty and commitment throughout his life.

Following his military service, Bert enjoyed a successful career as a corporate executive and salesman, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Bert was a man of many interests. He was an avid reader, loved classic movies, and was a lifelong fan of baseball.

Most importantly, Bert will be remembered as a kind, supportive, and loving man whose generosity, wisdom, and caring nature enriched the lives of everyone who knew him. His unwavering devotion to family and friends was the hallmark of a life well lived.

Bert is survived by his beloved wife, Ann, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage; his three stepdaughters; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind extended family members and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Service, 288 Hurricane Shoals Road NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30046
