IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Belinda
Evans
June 25, 1950 – July 20, 2025
Belinda Evans, our beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, cousin, widow, and friend, peacefully gained her wings at home on July 20, 2025, at age 75. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, our family finds comfort in knowing she is now resting in the arms of her Heavenly Father and reunited with our loved ones who passed before her. Affectionately known as "Angel," Belinda truly embodied her name. She was born on June 25, 1950, in Brooklyn, New York, to her devoted parents, John Bizzell and Flozy Wilson. From an early age, it was clear that her spirit was touched by grace. Her life became a living testimony to her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." With this unwavering faith as her foundation, she approached every season of life with courage and resilience.
Professionally, Belinda had a distinguished career in sales and marketing in both Connecticut and Atlanta, where her natural charisma, dedication, and leadership skills brought her great success and earned her respect. However, it was her work in the community, particularly with children, that truly reflected her spirit. She had a deep love for children and was committed to instilling in them the values of faith, integrity, and perseverance. Her belief in others often inspired them to believe in themselves. She is fondly remembered by her beloved children, Jasmine and Eric; her loving sister, Desiree; her devoted brother, Lamont; her adored grandchildren, Savant, Gabrielle, Ethan, and Saint; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and friends whose lives she profoundly touched. Belinda had a unique ability to brighten any room she entered. Her laughter was infectious, her hugs comforting, and her words were often just what the heart needed. With her vibrant, youthful energy and joyful spirit, she reminded us of all the beauty in living life with love and a sense of purpose. She was the heart of her family, the rock of her community, and a quiet hero to many. Her legacy of faith, hope, and unconditional love will continue to live on in those she leaves behind. Although she has gained her heavenly wings, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
