Avery passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 29 years. Known for his gentle spirit, he touched countless lives through his “quiet acts of kindness” always offering to help others be it his family, work crew, or his neighbors when he was out mowing the lawn.

Avery was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 9, 1997. He was employed by Southeast Connections for 7 plus years, where he was admired for his strong work ethic, positive attitude and sense of humor. He was truly dedicated to the love of his life, Marissa. He felt his “greatest life accomplishment was being a good Dad”. He and Marissa have two precious children, Aiden and Emerson Gaddis, and the children always brought lots of love, pride and devotion to his life.
