Anthony "Tony" St. Claver Gabay passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at the age of 63. A steady, patient, and kind soul, Tony was known for his calm presence and the way he made others feel safe—especially those he loved most.

Born on April 1, 1962, Tony built a life defined by care, hard work, and quiet strength. He began his career as a nurse's aide, where his compassion and ability to listen were natural gifts. Later, he moved into a long career as a truck driver—work that suited his steady nature and tireless work ethic. Whether caring for patients or logging miles on the open road, Tony showed up with reliability and heart.

Tony is lovingly survived by his longtime partner, Stephanie; his children, Nicky, Junior, and Melissa; two cherished grandchildren; and his sisters, Joy and Lyn. He was preceded in death by his parents. He will also be remembered by extended family and friends who were blessed by his patience, warmth, and listening ear.

A funeral service to celebrate Tony's life will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Byrd & Flanigan Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and honor his life.
