Mrs. Ann Glancy Allen, age 90, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 23, 2023, at her residence. She was born April 20, 1932, in Warren County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Mac and Carrie Glancy. Ann was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 62 years, Bernard W. Allen.

She was a member of Jefferson First United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed crafts, card games, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ann was wonderfully devoted to her 5 children Kathy Bauer, Debbie Allen, Carrie Casch, Margaret Cook, and David Allen. She was the proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. In lieu of flowers, Ann would prefer donations to Jefferson First United Methodist Church, 1 88 Martin St, Jefferson, GA 30549. At Ann's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, she asked that friends and loved ones gather their families together and have a game night with lots of desserts.
