Angel Alberto Soto was born on May 27, 1976, in New York City, NY to Flor Angel Soto and Denia Perez-Reyes. As a child growing up in the Bronx, there was no shortage of adventure and mischief on Walton Ave, but his mother always kept him focused on education. He spent time in New Jersey, and eventually graduated from college with a Degree in Biology. After working for a few years, he relocated and made his home in San Antonio, TX but never forgot his love for family and friends back home in NY, the Mets, and Giants. Angel found his passion in Education, and he changed the lives of so many people through his exuberant personality, constant positivity, truthful nature, and genuine care and love for all. If you were anywhere around him, he would ensure you got your "Dimelo" or good morning and always knew just how to put a smile on your face. Angel was not a quiet man. He would be heard and was one of the few people who would tell you the truth because you needed to hear it, and it came from love. If you caught him at his weekend basketball leagues, you might have seen one of his famous "Poppies"! Angel was an amazing person and one of a kind. He was a loving son, brother, father, companion, and mentor who always pushed you for more. He was getting pretty good at Pokemon and Seven Days for the kids. He was a party guy turned family man and will be deeply missed by all. He is preceded in death by his mother Denia Perez and sister Esmeralda Soto. Angel is survived by his son Justin Angel Soto, Nephews: Angel Kain Soto and Aaron Goldberg Jr, Nieces: Denia Amanda Soto and Alexis Goldberg, Great Niece Esmeralda Marie Soto, Aunt Hilda Barkmeyer Reyes, Uncle Ricardo Reyes, life partner/girlfriend Santanna and her daughter Taleah, and by Denia his dog of 17 years. He also leaves numerous other family and friends that were like family. He touched the lives of so many in the short time he had with us on Earth.
