It is with deepest sorrow we announce the sudden tragic passing of Alex Robert Thomson, age 23, on July 10, 2020. He is survived by his parents Chad and Christine (Clegg) Thomson, sister Hannah Thomson (of Georgia), sorely missed by paternal grandparents Larry and Bonnie Thomson, maternal grandparents Ian and Barbara Clegg, his uncle Craig Thomson (wife Jaime), cousins Alexis, Cooper, and Mackenzie, his loving aunt Jennifer Clegg (fiance Michael Carriere), cousin Derek Farmer, and the rest of his family in Canada. Also remembered by close friends, who embraced him as family in Georgia. Alex was a spiritually motivated person who radiated strong, positive energy.  He lived as he loved, with a fierce devotion and loyalty to those he called friend. Alex's unique and creative mind made him a skilled tradesman, craftsman, and fabricator, as well as a highly disciplined Kendama artist.  We may have lost him physically, but his memory and inspiration will forever live on in each of us.
