William Thomas "Tom" Davis

William Thomas "Tom" Davis, Age 57 of Stone Mountain, Georgia passed away Feb 16, 2018. Many of you know Tom as "Booger" a childhood nickname bestowed on him by his 5 older siblings.
Tom will always be remembered for his many musical talents as lead guitarist, vocalist, original music, and his ability to play any musical instrument. He was self taught and began playing at a very early age and he never stopped. His talent and musical gifts were amazing. As a lefty, he could actually play a right handed guitar and never miss a beat! He was a man who focused on his passion and music was his life. He collected and loved classic rock guitars, vinyl albums, and all things related to the music he so loved. As he used to say "There is nothing like the sound of music from old vinyl"
Tom was loved by many for his kind and gentle spirit and infectious smile.He was loving, funny, loyal, & protective of Jeff, his family, & his many friends.  His friends were part of his family.
Tom will forever be missed by his family and close friends. He leaves behind his life partner & soul mate of 43 years Jeff Eyster and his family, who loved him so much: Sister Barbara "Sissy" Nix, Niece Mary Podes, Nephew Stephen Osley, Nephew Angelo Podes,  Nephew Peter Podes. Tom also leaves behind many childhood friends including Kevin, Brad, & Ben. 
We will always miss you, your love, your talent, and just you. You will live in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, fly high and rest in peace. Your playing with the "Big Boys" now. Show 'em how it's done! Rock On

Tom chose to forego a traditional ceremony. Instead he opted for a celebration of life with his friends and family featuring rock music. Just his style!
