Vivian Spivey Obituary

Mrs. Vivian "Viv" Kirk Spivey age 68 of Loganville, GA passed away Saturday April 13, 2019. Born in Fulton County, GA  on July 11, 1950, She was the daughter of the late George and Estelle Kirk. Vivian was born and raised in a small neighborhood called cabbagetown on the east side of Atlanta. She was proud to call cabbagetown her home and proud of her roots and where she came from. Vivian was the youngest of 5 girls and 2 boys. Her brothers passed away as infants so she did not get the chance to know them but she loved her big sisters dearly. She was the baby of the family and a true Momma's Girl.

On July 31, 1970 Vivian married the love of her life, Larry. Shortly after, Vivian and Larry started their little family and had 2 daughters, Valorie and Tiffany. She was a devoted Wife and Mother to her husband and two girls. Vivian upheld her wedding vows to Larry for 44 wonderful years until he lost his own battle to cancer in 2014. Their love is a testament to what true love, devotion and sacrifice is all about.

Vivian was loved by many and she never met a stranger with her outgoing, funny and witty personality. She could definitely make friends anywhere and she kept us all laughing. She was a loving and selfless Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. Vivian always helped others when she was able and most of the time put others needs in front of her own, especially her Children and Grandchildren. If anyone ever needed help she was always there to lend a helping hand, a listening ear or some words of wisdom. One of her favorite sayings was "If I cant help you, I surely wont hurt you". Those are words she lived by. Vivian Spivey was a one of a kind, loyal, trustworthy, hardworking and remarkable woman and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life.
