Shelby Nicole Hensley

Shelby Nicole Hensley, age 24, of Oxford, AL (formerly of Gwinnett County) passed away March 9, 2018. 

Shelby was born in Goose Creek, SC on April 13, 1993. She graduated from Hebron Christian Academy and attended Georgia State University.  She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.  Shelby enjoyed reading, writing, poetry, and crafts.

She is survived by her parents:  Betsy and Chris Wright of Oxford, AL and Chris and Cyndie Hensley of Franklin, TN; siblings:  Caitlin Hensley of Suwanee, GA, Maddie Hensley of Franklin, TN, Graham Wright of Oxford, AL, Kendall Wright of Cumming, GA, Tory Wright of Cumming, GA, Sara Carter of Nashville, TN; grandparents: Sam and Janice Harrison of Dacula, GA, James Hensley of Merritt Island, FL, Joy Murphy of California; uncles: John and Mercy Hensley of California, Sid and Andrea Harrison of Dacula, GA; aunt Julie and Mike Poisal of Dacula, GA and several cousins.

A celebration of Shelby’s life will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Hebron Baptist Church in Dacula, GA with Reverend Charles Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 12 pm until 2 pm at the church.
