Maurice ComerMay 31, 1972 ~ December 29, 2017 (age 45)
Maurice “MoeC” Comer, born on May 31, 1972, in Darmstadt, Germany, left this world on December 29, 2017, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Maurice was the son of Terry Earl Comer, a proud Military War Veteran and Ursula Margarete Comer, a loyal employee of the Kellogg Company for 31 years. Maurice graduated from Bellevue University in 2016 with a bachelor’s of Applied Science in Supply Chain and Logistics Management as well as Kendrick High School in 1991. Having grown up in Columbus, Georgia, Maurice moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1992 where he worked as a Supply Chain data analyst. While he enjoyed his work, his true passion was being close to Family and Friends. As he grew older, Maurice enjoyed learning new hobbies and developing new interests, so much so that he taught himself to paint with acrylics. He later became an avid guns men, often bragging about his unique and powerful collection of artillery. He would cycle for 30 miles at a time in Piedmont Park here in Atlanta but enjoyed most of all, watching the Miami Hurricanes football team as he threw up the iconic “U” symbol with both hands. Maurice was known for being a no non-sense type of person but to those close to him that exterior quickly softened as he was a very funny, joyful and a caring person. Maurice is survived by his wife, Crina Comer, his son, Ashton Maurice Comer, his Mother, Ursula Comer, his brother, Terry Comer, and his two sisters, Kayla and Nikiay Comer.
Today and always we shall celebrate the life and memory of Maurice “MoeC” Comer. Byrd and Flanigan Crematory & Funeral Service, Lawrenceville, GA in charge of the arrangements. 770-962-2200 Duluthcremation.net
