Larry was a great guy! He was in my life all through high school and college and for a long time afterward. He always had time to listen to or tell a joke. He was a great dad to Greg and Gary, he'll be missed. My sincere condolences to Greg and Ruth. God bless you all and peace be with you always.

Larry was a great friend for over 40 years. We met at a piano factory training seminar in the '70s and Larry was always quick to find us and give hugs at countless professional get-togethers in the years since. He left us with a warm feeling and smiles every time. He will be missed and always remembered. He has probably already organized a "Barber Shop Chorus" in heaven. I think I can hear them singing now.......

Ruth and family...What a legacy... Larry lived to bring joy, and we are so enriched by his impact in our lives...words cannot say. I know there is more joy now in heaven that he is there. God Bless you all as you are such an important part of all that.

Larry was a huge influence in the Piano Technicians Guild, both as a mentor, teacher, inspirer, musician, and gentle friend. He was always eager to try new things and learn! He cut a broad path and will be greatly missed. May his memory be a blessing.

Thanks to Larry and his wonderful expertise, I can once again play my beloved antique Chickering. He really went above and beyond on the project and I cannot thank him enough. It was a delight knowing him and I will miss his visits out to the house to tune and tweek the old girl. My thoughts are with his family. Have a peaceful rest, Larry.

We are so very sorry for your loss of such a beautiful soul! I met Larry when I was 13 years old when my father made me go to a piano convention and I'll never forget he was the only person there that went out of his way to make me feel that I belonged… My mom was very sick and I was a very lost and scared little girl. Thank God through the years we were able to see him maybe every other year and when I met my husband I was able to introduce them, that meant the world to me! Heaven certainly did get another angel! Blessings and love to all of you, again so sorry for your loss🙏🏼

Farewell good friend. Keep your pitch-pipe handy as there is always time and a place for one more chorus of "My Bonnie..."

"And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." (1 Corinthians 15:26) I cannot imagine the pain that your family is going through right now. God promises that he will soon wipe away and reverse the effects of this enemy that causes so much pain. Your precious Mr Crabb will be brought back to you and you will never have to experience the pain of losing him ever again. This is a promise from God!
