Jim had a passion for adventure, especially as he rode the Silver Lake Sand Dunes with his loved ones and operated a race car in the 1970’s. He also adored cooking for Susan and family, playing in the dirt, and building (with his latest project being a chicken coop with an automatic door opener). Jim is survived by his wife- Susan Blowers; his two daughters- Jamie Bunker (Lee) and Melinda (Mike); his step-daughters- Christy (Chuck) Smith, Amanda Brinson, and Jessica Long; his grandchildren- Bailee, Emma, Avery, and Branden White, Madelyn and Maddox McCarty, Carsen, Hayden, and Leyla Bunker, Kaitlyn, Ethan, and Isaac Harris, and Gracie Jackson; his great-grandchildren- Calden Doerr and Mckinley and Brooklyn White; and his brothers- Stanley and Curtis Blowers. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Moddie and Andrew Blowers.
The family plans on celebrating Jim’s fulfilled life by gathering at Silver Lake in the summer of 2019. Jim Blowers will always be remembered for his rebellious spirit, strong-willed character, tireless work ethic, and unconditional love for his family.
