Frank Peterson

Frank was born in Orange, New Jersey on September 29, 1931, to Wyatt and Elise Peterson. He proudly joined the Navy on January 31, 1949, and completed his 2nd tour of duty June 4, 1954. Frank passed away peacefully on September 12, 2018, at Mesun Hospice Center, Lawrenceville, GA.  Frank was the father of 4 sons, Wyatt Joseph Peterson& daughter-in-law Wanda, Cleveland, Georgia, Eric Loring Peterson (Deceased 2010) Kurt  Edward Peterson and daughter-in-law Christie, Orlando, Florida, Patrick Monty Peterson and daughter-in-law Kelly, Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was also the father of 2 daughters, Kathy James (Turner), Little Rock AR. and his loving daughter and care giver for the past 8 years, Laurie Frances DeForest (Joey Maloney), Lawrenceville, GA.  In addition to his sons and daughters, Frank is survived by Grandchildren: Chelsea Cantrell, Atlanta, GA., Marissa Cantrell, Virginia,  Haley Elise Peterson, Lawrenceville, GA. Maddox Gray Peterson, Lawrenceville, GA,  Chase Peterson (Megan), Kennesaw, GA., Conner Peterson (Emilie), Marietta, GA., April Duncan(Brannon), Hoschton, GA. Melissa Glez(Yubran), Gainesville, GA. Stephany Peterson, Zack Wade(Shannon), Duluth, GA.  Frank was successful in the Insurance Business for many years owning his own Agency for many years before his retirement. The Family will receive friends at the Georgia National Cemetery at 9:30 AM, just prior to the service 10:00 AM.  Funeral Services will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery, 2025 Mt.
