A CELEBRATION OF THE LIFE OF EMMETT DALTON POUCHIE - RICH
EMMETT DALTON POUCHIE RICH, was born in Roatan Bay Island of Honduras C.A., on October 15th, 1935, he was the eldest of five children to KITCHENER and FRANCES E. POUCHIE ; DALTON, HUSTACE, ANDY, ERROL,and RODNEY
EMMETT DALTON conceived three boys with the late BETTY YOUNG: ARTLY, VERNON and ALLAN POUCHIE.
Then married his late wife ROSEBELLA MCKENZIE-POUCHIE, in French Harbour Roatan, on December 19th, 1964 at the age of 29. To that union one daughter was born, DALIA JOY POUCHIE, two raised daughter MARCIA TENNYSON and LUCY MCKENZIE.
EMMETT DALTON was married to ROSEBELLA MCKENZIE for 37 years.
He was educated in Honduras, he left as a Young man and worked as a seaman positioned (chief- engineer). He settled in Oak Ridge Roatan, where he resided with his wife and children. Then he moved to Miami Florida where he found his new wife DONNA SHARLA SOLOMON-POUCHIE, marrying her in December 2001, they were married for 17 years.
EMMETT DALTON was a God fearing, honest man, who was kind hearted, generous and humble. He had strong family values and believed in working hard for all, and would do good deeds for all without a second thought.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his second wife DONNA, one brother ANDY, his sons ARTLY, ALLAN, his daughters DALIA, MARCIA, LUCY, 24 grandchildren DARCY, ELENA, EVANIA, BRIANNA, MEDGAR, ALFRED, SHERRIE, ANTHONY, SHENLY, DARWIN, JOVI, MELINA, ZEBBIE, RITZI, JANNIE. DURRELL, VICKY, JILLIE, JAMEL, EBONY, RYAN, AUDREY, FABIAN AND CORAL. A host of great-grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Family and friends.
EMMETT DALTON was preceded in death by his parents KITCHENER and FRANCES POUCHIE, his first wife ROSEBELLA MCKENZIE, his brothers HUSTACE , ERROL,RODNEY and his son VERNON, his grandson ALFRED.
EMMETT DALTON POUCHIE, FADDIE OR UNCLE DALLY, will live on in our hearts forever, there will always be something to remember him with like: honey hush, studdering or one for the road. The Family will receive friends Saturday October 6, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 2:30 pm.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 6, 2018 at 2:30 pm from the Chapel of Byrd and Flanigan Crematory & Funeral Service in Lawrenceville. 770-962-2200
