Loganville - Andreas Wolff, Jr., 85, passed away Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 at Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia following surgery.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sara (Orendi) Wolff; his son Heinz Wolff and his wife Ivanna; his daughter Sue Wolff Vigliotti, his grandchildren Matthew, Joshua, Joseph, and Jason; as well as many close friends.
Born and raised in Felldorf, Romania, the son of Andreas and Sara Wolff.
Forced from his home country at the age of 10 because of the war, Andy attended public school for 8 years in Austria. He then immigrated to Canada where he worked in construction. While in Canada he met his wife Sara whom he married in 1956. His son, Heinz, was born in Kitchener, Ontario in 1957. They immigrated to the United States in 1958, where they purchased and worked a grape farm in Westfield, New York. Andy also worked at AJAX Coupling for several years before taking over farming full time. His daughter, Sue, was born in New York during their early years of working the farm. Here, he was an active member of Lakeshore Assembly of God where he served and ushered for many years. In 1993, they moved to Loganville, Georgia to be close to their grandchildren. While in Georgia, He was a dedicated member of Evangel Community Church where he created many lasting friendships.
Andy loved the Lord and was a faithful man of God. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. The love he shared with his wife was exemplary and timeless. He was a great friend to many. He loved with tough love but was also the sweetest soul all at once. He loved to spend time with his family, visit with friends, listen to German hymns or scriptures, and uplift others with his quick wit, chuckle, and a warm smile.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 2nd at 11 AM at Evangel Community Church in Snellville, Georgia.
