Allen - better known as “Big Al” - had a big heart, and was a friend to many. Big Al loved God, his wife Kelly, Miller Lite, his family, football, and NASCAR. He never met a stranger. Allen had a memorable laugh that would light up the room, and could make anyone smile. He was hard working, meticulous, loyal to a fault, dedicated, a perfectionist and sometimes he was anal - but all of these qualities made him who he was and they made us all love him. Allen was blessed to find the love of his life, Kelly, and they were married for 19 years. Kelly knew it was love at first sight right when they met. Allen was a father to many, not just his stepchildren, Cody Bowles, Austin, Brantley, & Nicole Brantley, but also to his Goddaughter Peyton – who called him Velvet. Allen fought a battle that few of us can imagine. He did it with grace and without complaining. He was such a resilient, and heartfelt man and will truly be missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Allen was preceded in death by his father Fredrick Allen Miller Sr. and brother Scott Miller. Allen is also survived by his mother Dee Miller, brother Clay & Arden Miller, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, life long friends, and his loving cat "Barney". A celebration of Allen's life will beheld on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at 11:00 am at Gloster Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Day officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations may be made to the Americal Cancer Society Gwinnett Chapter at 6500 Sugarloaf Pkwy Ste 260, Duluth, GA 30097 or to Kelly Miller for Allen's medical expenses at Po Box 602 Hoschton GA. 30548. in memory of Allen "Big AL" Miller.
