Thomas Wayne Priddy Jr.

Thomas (Butch) Wayne Priddy Jr., 54, of Loganville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017.  Born January 16, 1963, in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of Thomas Wayne Priddy Sr., and Gwen Raburn Brock. Butch attended Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia, and enlisted in the Navy in 1980, where he served two tours. He married Lisa Priddy (née Peters) on March 23, 1984, and had four children. Butch worked as a Project Manager and Director of Operations for janitorial services companies until 2008.  Butch is survived by his mother, Gwen Raburn Brock; his wife of 33 years, Lisa Priddy; daughter and son-in-law, Beth Priddy and Justin Shotwell of Chicago, IL; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Melissa Priddy of Dahlonega, GA; his son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Jessica Priddy of Loganville, GA; his son, James Priddy of Loganville, GA; and five grandchildren, Callie, Canaan, Oliver, Finley, and Jude. Butch was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Wallis; brother, Britt Priddy; and father, Thomas Wayne Priddy.  Butch was an engaging storyteller, a tenacious seeker of knowledge, and a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed.  A visitation will be held from 11 to 1, and a service from 1 to 2, August 9, 2017, at Byrd and Flanigan Crematory and Funeral Service in Lawrenceville, GA. A celebration of life will be held after from 3 to 7 at 550 Trackside in Lawrenceville, GA.
