Robert William Hill Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia was born on January 15, 1967, and entered into the presence of his Savior on Palm Sunday, March 25, 2018. He was a faithful and loving husband, son and brother. Bob often displayed his unwitting thoughtfulness by sparing no effort to fulfill the special desires of those he loved. He had a passion for things done the right way with others striving to “out-Bob” Bob. He reveled in pleasing friends and family through remembrance of their favorite things. Bob loved all genres of music, often composing custom portfolio collections with significant meaning to the recipient. He valued an intelligent conversation, especially inspired by topics of history, space, and trivia. Movies and books were particular passions, and he especially enjoyed Star Trek, Sherlock Holmes, and classic novels.
Bob’s character shone to all he encountered through his God-given qualities of kindness, service, loyalty, faithfulness, and fairness. He loved passionately and conquered life challenges through faith. He would hope that others may find perseverance and ultimate peace by clinging to the anchor of our souls, the Lord Jesus Christ, our rock and the only solid foundation upon which to stand. May He be glorified in all things. Philippians 4:4-8
A graveside celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 31 at 11 a.m. in Old Shadowlawn Cemetery, Atha Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
