Upon the completion of over 40 different Rules cited by the State Board of Funeral Service. Byrd & Flanigan Crematory and Funeral Service is honored to announce we had no Violations cited or Fines Levied. Mary Carolyn Parks age 86 of Monroe, GA; formerly of Snellville, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017. Mary was born on September 30, 1930, to the late Walter & Laura Helms Harris. Mary retired after 23 years of service from Rich's Department store; she also worked six years with Sears Outlet in Snellville. Mary & her husband enjoyed camping and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melford Franklin Parks. Mary is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Carolyn & Johnny Simmons Monroe, GA; son David Parks Milton, GA; Daughter & son-in-law Vicki & Jim Hyatt Monroe, GA; and 13 grandchildren.
