Honora Barrett Teahan, 94, of Dacula, GA passed away peacefully at home on February 16, 2018. Born to James and Effie (Touchton) Barrett in Waycross, she was raised in Albany, GA and married the late Norman S. Teahan Sr. in 1944. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and five of her six siblings. She is survived by her children Norman (Lynn) Teahan of Dacula and Pam (Garry) Laird of Overland Park, KS, her grandchildren Saralynn (Brian) Stooksbury, Jennifer Teahan, Margaret (Roberto) Sanchez, Aaron Blosser, and Kristin Laird, her great-grandchildren Jacob and David Stooksbury, and her sister Echo (Jim) Hopkins. She will be lovingly remembered by her family for her playfully devilish sense of humor, questionable cooking skills, and exasperation at the inability of her grandchildren to learn how to play bridge and their disinterest in at least one of them becoming a lawyer. The family will gather for a private memorial service in the spring. Arrangements by Byrd & Flanigan Crematory And Funeral Service Lawrenceville, GA. (770)962-2200 ByrdandFlanigan.com
