I've know Pops for less time than most of his closer friends but the short time I've know him through our occasional morning conversations and meetings I found out that he was a good man, loved his wife and family very much and now that he is with the Lord, may the Lord show his love and mercy over him and his fine family. Miss you bud. Steve

To the Allman family I would like to say I am truly sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there with y’all Saturday. Pops was a great man and touched a lot of people with his music. He was an inspiration to my son. Know that you are all in my prayers and thoughts. Pops, Denise, Daile, Michelle, Amanda, Chris and all the rest of the family I love you all and may God give you comfort and strength to get through this time together. I love you all.
